I'm a Flintknapper by choice; a Hunter because my eyes face the front and not the sides; a computer weenie by profession; and a Hillbilly by the grace of God.

I was born and raised in Lincoln County in south central Tennessee near the Elk River. I did a couple of tours for Uncle Sam in the Marines, learned a trade or two and got to see most of South East Asia. I now live a few miles away in the big metropolis of Lynchburg, TN. Those of you who don't make your own "shine" may associate Lynchburg with the Jack Daniels Distillery. When the wind is out of the South-West, which it usually is, I can smell the mash from the "Ole Number Seven" vat. When it's out of the North-East I can smell George Dickel Distillery which is located just a few miles from here in Tullahoma. Too bad I don't drink.
